Falling behind

I always am afraid of this happening. Whenever i see someone getting ahead of me in school, or in skills i feel very envious of their sucess. I know it is all well and good for me to say this, but what am i actually doing to improve myself and assure myself that i am not falling behind. The truth is i do the bare minimum amount of work that i intend to do becasue, i get distracted and procrastinate to a high level. Once the evening has gone by, i will go into a state of confusion and anger, knowing that i let another night get away from me.

I know i have touched upon this in other blogs, but i think it is important to not always focus on the work that needs to be completed. It is almost as important to recollect yourself and focus on other tasks.

If i am honest, i am using this blog post to get out the subconscious fears of what i am doing. “What if i fail my A levels?” and “What if i become worst in the class?”, there is a very helpful technique that from now on i shall use.

If you are procrastinating on something, think of the worst possible outcome from said procrastination. If you don’t do this work now then your grade will go down in the actual exam. This makes your brain more aware of the important tasks in your life, and will urge you to get on with them.
